Poori and aloo both are always a hit with kids. Most of the time kids leave out whatever vegetables we make and finish these chapatis and pooris. They don't like them or are more interested to run for playing. Filling chapatis and pooris with vegetables saves there time as they can roll and eat their food also it is the best way to feed the vegetables.
It was a hit while I was a child and still it is a hit with my daughter.

Ingredients :
1 cup Atta (wheat flour)
1 medium size potato - boiled
1/2 tsp red chilli powder
1/2 tsp garam masala
1/4 tsp carom seeds (ajwain)
Salt to taste
Oil for making dough & later for frying
Water to knead the dough
Method :
In a big bowl mix atta, salt and carom seeds.
Knead the atta using water little at time.
Add 1/2 - 1 tsp oil and knead well to form a smooth, soft and non sticky dough.
In another bowl, mash the boiled potato and add the red chilli powder garam masala and salt. Mix them together.
We can add chopped coriander leaves too.
Take the dough and divide it into small balls of equal size.
Take one of them and flatten it into a small circle with your hands and fill it with the aloo mixture and roll back to form the ball again. Do not overfill the dough with mixture. Now keeping it in between your palm in one hand press with the other to flatten it a little.
Now either use the floured rolling pin to roll it on the lightly floured surface to form a small circle or like I did flatten the filled dough into a circle by pressing it in between my hands.
Meanwhile, heat oil in a kadai and deep fry them.
Serve hot with chutney, achaar or just like that.
